MCDES
Minnesota Coalition for Death Education and Support
Welcome to the Minnesota Coalition for Death Education and Support (MCDES). Founded in 1977, our purpose is to promote and provide education, opportunities for networking, and support to professionals and volunteers involved in the care of persons confronting death and bereavement.

We offer state-wide services dealing with death education and support issues to a diverse membership, including physicians, nurses, clergy, grief counselors, psychologists, therapists, social workers, hospice staff and volunteers, educators, nursing home and emergency service personnel, students, funeral directors and staff, survivors and advocates.

On the accompanying pages, you can find information about membership, conferences, our newsletter, and our many activities.
